PlayStation profiling

Someone recently went to the Walmart in Pittsfield (a small town west of Springfield) and bought nine PlayStation 1 games. The FBI is on the case. SJR: PlayStation purchase brings FBI to Pittsfield.

"It's a game for children. For a family to come in there and buy one or two" would not raise eyebrows, [Pike County Sheriff] Petty said. "For somebody else described as the individual was, the purchase made it suspicious."

One can only wonder what the individual looked like that raised suspicions. Obviously not a little old grandma doing early Christmas shopping for the grandkids.

I've heard stories about how Sony PlayStations can allegedly be used for military training. The Sheriff also offered this:

"There is also the theory that some of the components in the games could be used as detonating devices."

That is scary, if true.
