Friday at last

The week of torment. Gone. Bye bye. Farewell. Yes! One more week until the big move. After that, I think I"m going to start taking some of my vacation days.

Today, I started writing my :::drumroll::: NaNoWriMo novel. As of yet, I haven't decided whether I'll make it available for public consumption. Word count so far: 248. Woot!

In other major news, my other daughter turned 18 today! Somehow, I singlehandedly managed to raise two people to adulthood. They're both terrific and, with few exceptions, how they are now is just how I once imagined they would be. I don't even know how I did it. But I did.

Been there twice. One of the hardest jobs you could ever pick (motherhood that is) but I wouldn't trade it for anything!
