A collection of people around the statue of Abraham Lincoln on the east side of the State Capitol Building. Shot through the windshield on a recent sunny Saturday morning. Several years ago someone installed those black posts in the foreground as a barricade to prevent stray vehicles from crashing into the statue. I think. I love that that kid in the lower right-hand corner chose to sit atop one of those barricades.

I looked around to see what collections I have and couldn't find any. I have an antique duck caller, but I don't think one duck caller constitutes a collection. I once had an antique crow caller, but my mother gave it away when I wasn't looking. If I still had the crow caller, I could arrange it with the duck caller to make a collection. Ya think?

what a patriotic little boy, protecting the statue like that. :-) I think your right about the collection. One duck call does not a collection make. We need a new theme.. things I intend to collect someday.
