Throw the dog a bone
Re the State of the Union address, Mr. Bush covered the biggies:
• Homeland Security
• Economy
• Seniors and Prescription Drugs
• Iraq/Foreign Policy
And, in the process he threw just about everybody a bone. Lots of money tossed around. Lots of promises, too. Lots of determination on his part. He made his case for Iraq. Allegations or evidence? One somewhat surprising bone he threw out was the $720 million in new funding for hydrogen fuel development for automobiles and electricity. That's encouraging. It'll be interesting to see where that money comes from and how that money gets paid and how far it will go. We'll see.
