Fri-i-i-i-day

It's Friday night, and the feeling's right.

With two full weeks under my belt at my new job, I just wanna know why people insist on using Microsoft Word for word processing? Arr!

i use adobe indesign as my word processor, even though it's meant mainly for page/document/book layouts. it gives me control of everything, which is nice.

and to prepare text to layout and format, ultraedit is king.

I'm going to be in the vast minority here because I use emacs and latex for almost everything writing related. The coding editor of choice changes pretty regularly. Right now it's Kate. Go figure.
