Google as phone book
The Google phone book concept is much easier to comprehend than the Google operating system concept.
I almost exclusively use Google as my phonebook at work and at home.
Also, it's great as a sort of reverse lookup. For instance, today my boss wanted to know someone's last name. We had the person's first name and phone number, but not the last name. I simply plinked the phone number with area code into Google, and walla, there was the person's full name and address. How cool is that? This whole thing took a couple seconds and impressed the pants off my boss (not literally). Yeah, they think I'm Wonder Secretary. Boy, do I have them fooled.
