Late yesterday afternoon when Laura and I were out and about in the car, we stopped at a Subway so she could get something to eat. Personally, I don't care for their food, but she likes it. She always has them make the sandwich her way. One piece of turkey, two pieces of ham, six pieces of cheese, and nothing else. Crazy, I know. She's such a regular at the Subway in our neighborhood that we're half expecting them to name this sandwich after her any day now.

Since we weren't near our neighborhood on our outing yesterday, we went through the drive through of a different Subway. This town is full of ’em. I gave her order to the squawk box. The guy inside replies that they can't make it like that. I tell him the other Subway makes it like that all the time. He starts to argue with me. I cut him off by telling him, never mind, we'll just come inside. As we're driving around the side of the building, my daughter tells me not to go there. Okay, fine.

We leave the Subway parking lot and pull out into traffic. As we're waiting for a red light across the street from the Subway, some guy comes out the door and starts yelling obscenities at us. He was a Subway employee. We could tell by the insignia on his shirt. Unreal.

I like my bacon on the side instead of on my sandwich and they always try to get it to me uncooked when I order it that way. WTF? They need to higher smarter and less rude people. Asses.

Here's a wild and crazy thought, but why don't you TELL them you'd like it heated instead of complaining about it. They're not mind readers, you know.
