Google as stock tracker
Another Google thing: The Google stock tracker. Probably everyone knows this already, but I just discovered it today. If you type a New York Stock Exchange symbol into Google, the first link, with a nifty little attention grabbing graphic which sets it off from the other links, will be to that stock's stock tracker page on Yahoo Finance. Well, la te da.
Since I don't own any stock, one might wonder how did I discover this. On a lark, I typed "t" into Google and much to my surprise, the first link was to AT+T’s stock page on Yahoo. Hey, cool, I thought. So I tried a few others I know off the top of my head. IBM. Yeah, that works. MSFT. That worked too. That's all. Try it. It works.
