Disclaimers and more

Joi Ito is considering making a disclaimer page. Personally, I don't think a disclaimer is justified for the questions raised. Rather, the information he has provided in relation to a subject is timely and pertinent.

As an occasional reader of his blog, chances are I wouldn't have read his disclaimer page (if he had one), and the information he provided and which has been called into question would have escaped me. Placing that information on a page of its own may be forgotten which in turn could detract from certain discussions.

My own standard disclaimer: Hey, what do I know.

Having said all that, the following is a funny disclaimer I once found and saved. I still get a kick out of this.
