What am I doing here

During the day when I'm at work, I come up with lots of things to blog about. Unfortunately, there just isn't time during the day to be blogging from work. By the time I get home, all those thoughts are gone. That's why the posting has been light lately. Not that I feel I have to explain myself to anyone, I'm just mentioning it here so I don't forget.

I'm seriously considering discontinuing this blog which has gone in so many different directions and starting a different blog with one specific direction. Or, maybe two different blogs, each with its own specific direction.

A reporter from a newspaper in a nearby town contacted me this week requesting to interview me about the "increasing popularity of web logs." For me, personally, the time is not right. I don't want to be in a newspaper. I thanked her, and declined the offer. The fact that she zeroed in on me is what's making me rethink this whole thing and what I"m doing here.

Not all blogs need purpose. Nor does one need to justify the existence of said blog.

You're fine as you are, and I would humbly request that you continue as you were.

Thanks Ben. That means a lot.

I like your blog--really it is just what you want to do.

I do use two blogs--but really for the same purpose. The St. Louis version is so specific that I keep it separate because no one besides those in the area would be that interested.

Thank you, AP! Your ArchPundit blog is a great inspiration for anyone who wants to do political blogging. I'm really glad I found it and you. :)
