Campaign blogs

I'm pacing myself with the campaign blogs. I don't want to go on politics overload too soon. I haven't read any of the campaign blogs. Until yesterday. And today. I discovered that Blair Hull has a blog. I read all the posts. And, I read all the comments. I even made a comment. I'm now officially on politics overload. Haha. No, not really.

I'm reading his Health America plan. It's really long. My first impression is that it's hip deep in bureaucracy. I don't know what I was expecting, but that wasn't it. On the other hand, I have to give Hull a lot of credit for even wanting to take on this mess.

I'm liking the Democrat Party less and less. That's not to say I'm liking the Republican Party more and more.

People change. Needs change. Government changes. The two main political parties have certainly changed. I've changed. I used to know exactly what I wanted in a political candidate. I used to know what I liked about a particular candidate. And, as for what I didn't like about a favorite candidate, I think I just looked the other way. Now, I'm not so sure.

Maybe I can blame Jeff for my newfound ambivalence.

Comments

I followed your link to Bill Hull's blog. Gawd, is it ever awful or what? Just the same old partisan talking points, nothing in it that has any hint of true thought or originality. I put in a comment to that effect. Let's see how long before the old pol deletes it.
