Monday Mission 1201

Itís been a long time since Iíve done a Monday Mission. Therefore, in the tradition of misplaced traditions, hereís my PromoGuy's Monday Mission 3.48. Stretch.

1. Those paper toilet seat covers in public bathrooms, do you use them? Heavens no. But, I donít sit either. I always carry a plastic cup in my handbag specifically for this purpose. No, not really. I just made that up. Toilet seat covers do make an excellent media for getting autographs at rock concerts. The tough part is getting the rock star into the ladiesí restroom during intermission.

2. What is on your Christmas Wish List for Santa to bring? I donít have a list. Damn it! I would love a car, however.

3. In the month of November, Brian wrote over 50,000 words on his novel and is nearing completion. What did you accomplish in the month of November? Itís December 1st and Iím still alive. Thatís something.

4. Have you ever snuck into someplace that you shouldn't have? Tell me about that. Oh yeah. Iíve been sneaking in and out of places all my life. One particularly memorable experience occurred several years ago when I snuck into my then bossís wifeís boyfriendís condo. It wasnít breaking in. The door was unlocked. It just so happened that no one was home at the time. My boss was freaking out over having just found out his wife was having an affair. Earlier that day, we thought we had figured out the boyfriendís phone number and, with my boss sitting across the desk from me, I phoned the number. The boyfriendís housekeeper answered, ď____ residence.Ē I hung up and told my boss who it was. This caused even more freaking out. You see, it was one of those things where you donít realize the magnitude of what you done until immediately after youíve done it. That evening, after dusk, we went to the condo. After being reasonably certain no one was home, I let myself in through the sliding glass doors which were totally unlocked while my boss drove around the block. The purpose of this little excursion was to erase our office phone number from the caller I.D. Unfortunately, I never found a caller I.D. box. By the time I got out of there, my heart was racing so hard I could hear it in my ears.

5. Do you recall the first internet meme you participated in? How did you come to find out about it? Do you still participate? Why or why not? I believe it was the Monday Mission. I think. Iím not sure. I didnít write it down. Iím still here.

6. Do you have any favorite internet or "streaming" radio programs or music channels you wish were available in your car or on a portable radio? No, dang it! I should. But, I donít.

7. Ever been skinny dipping? What's the story there? Oh yeah. The first time was in high school on senior skip day. I canít even remember who I went with, but it was in Lake Springfield, and it was very liberating.

BONUS: What's cooler than being cool? Opening cans without a can opener. That and other things.
