Love will keep us together

Kohl's has assumed as their current television advertising theme song, "Love Will Keep Us Together" by Captain & Tenille. It's a Christmas shopping commercial. Other than as an attention grabber, I have no idea what they were thinking putting this song in this ad. I was going to complain. But then I changed my mind when I saw the Captain and Tenille actually in the commercial. She singing. Him playing his miniature keyboard kazoo. They look exactly the same as they did in the 70's.

I liked it, when I first saw it I was guessing The Gap or Target.

It's actually the shortest VH1 "Behind the Music" special ever aired. ;)

Thank you for the get-well wishes, by the way. I'm starting to feel a little more like myself today (finally!). However, it's my first day back at work, and there is way too much to do now.

I never knew that that song would bring me, and my x-wife together. I was in a coffee shop and so was she and it was late, i would say about ten o'clock. Noone was there except Marie ( my x-wife) and i. Of course there was a clerk, but being an old friend of mine, he trusted me and Knew that that was Marie. I assume that she had herd the commerical before or that she had acctuly herd that song, back in the 70's. well the ad for Kolh's came on and next thing i new we were sitting together and drinking Lattes till three o'clock AM. It was a joyful moment for me, and i am sure it was on for her.
