Just the Bloglines

There are many things I like about Bloglines. One of my favorite features is that, with one click, all unread articles open in full in one pane (or, frame). That is, not just the headlines. This is something I haven't seen in a stand-alone aggregator. There are probably other aggregators that do this. I just haven't seen it.

EDIT: What I meant to say is, all unread articles of a particular blog. Not all unread articles of all subscribed blogs.

There is one feature I'd like to see added: RSS AutoDiscovery. I don't even know if this is possible. But, if there could be a separate program that the user could run similar to the way the Bloglines Notifier works, it would be a great time saver.

In case it's not obvious, I am not a tech person.

Marie, how were you thinking the RSS AutoDiscovery would work? They have a bookmarklet that you can run on a page to discover feeds on that page. Is that what you're looking for?

I use that all the time to find feeds on pages.

Bloglines is an incredible service. Best free service I've used.

Hi Jason. Yes, I forgot about that. It doesn't work in Avant Browser which is the browser I almost always use. However, it does work in IE (which I'm not inclined to use unless absolutely necessary) and Firefox. I suppose it wouldn't hurt me to finally switch everything over to Firefox.

You are so right. It is the best free service I've ever used too.

Thanks for reminding me of easysub.

I'm not sure why it doesn't work in Avant Browser. Maybe I just haven't figured it out.
