America's Forgotten Majority
I'm looking over Laura's shoulder while she's doing her homework. Her political science (love that!) class is doing an analysis of a June 2000 Atlantic Monthly article entitled "America's Forgotten Majority." Fascinating.
She only has to write about 500 words, but it counts for 20% of her grade. I love this shit. However, I wasn't able to pass along my love of this subject to her. She's a math person. She sleeps, eats, lives, and speaks math. Times like this, I catch a slight glimpse of her awe of me. That's amazing.

Are you kidding--polisci is all about the math--get her into a game theory or a stats class.
