Trial lawyers on the case

Florida trial lawyer and Republican, Ken Connor, has some cautionary advice for those who would try to debunk John Edwards as vice president in part because he's a trial attorney. See, Miami Herald: Focus on ideas, not smears. (Drat! Another newspaper web site that requires worthless information to read the articles. Grab a bugmenot to read it.)

From the end of article:

After all, trial lawyers were the first persons called by Bush and Cheney in 2000, when Republicans feared that the election was about to be stolen. It is because of the successful efforts of those trial lawyers that Bush and Cheney are now up for reelection.

Yeah, really.
