Lest the disarrangers think we here in the Carnes household have made up our minds to vote for John Kerry, even though we almost have, but not quite, in the first presidential election of the century, please be advised that we'll be watching the Republican National Convention vigilantly for any sign from George Bush and company that might appeal to those who struggle their fucking asses off on the verge of poverty without health insurance and living with the fear of losing their jobs at any given moment while their sons and daughters and husbands and wives and brothers and sisters heroically go off to fight a war where the rich have gotten richer under the guise of bringing an end to weapons of mass destruction that were never found and with the afterthought of ramming democracy down the throats of those who resist.

Bring on the issues.
