Pre-Illinois senate debate conversation

Before the debate I overheard this anonymous (wink wink) exchange:

Her: Are you going to listen to the debate tonight?
Him: What debate?
Her: The Illinois senate race.
Him: Oh. No.
Her: You're probably going to vote for Keyes, anyway.
Him: It doesn't matter 'cuz that LaBamba guy's going to win.
