Winter signs

Today's good advice from the Old Farmer's Almanac. It goes:

The more red berries seen in the hedgerows, the more frost and snow in the coming winter.

I can certainly attest to that. And you can too if you go out and check your hedgerow right now. And if there's a bustle in your hedgerow, don't be alarmed now; it's just a spring-clean for the May Queen.
