Dust covers

Does anyone except me remember back in the day when you bought a new piece of office equipment, it almost always came with a dust cover. I'm thinking of things like a typewriter, a calculator, and later a personal computer, keyboard, and printer. I can even remember one time getting a new copy machine that came with a dust cover. Now, if you can even find them, they have to be purchased separately. What happened? Did the world get less dusty? I think not.

Well, there are some that don't realize that you need to turn the equipment off before you cover it up and cut off the circulation. Those are the people that need the "do not eat this" on the little packets of silica. :-)

Not less dusty, just out for more money. ACCESSORIZE. :)

Yes, I once worked with someone for whom it was more important to keep the dust covers on the monitors, printers, etc. than to actually use the equipment.
