Squandering summer

It rained most of the day on Thursday. Each time I went outside, I couldn't help but feel that the end of summer will be upon us sooner, rather than later.

And I remembered as a child trying to make the most of the last days of summer vacation as I went kicking and screaming into what I dreaded would be nine grueling months of school.

There's more to this. But, suddenly, I'm too tired to think about it.

Summer is coming to an end. It was a really hot summer here in Bucks County PA, and I found myself complaining occassionally. I don't like to do that because I complain about the winter weather, and I usually like summer very much.
Thanks for stopping by.

Yes, it was getting rather depressing there wasn't it?

The farmers needed that rain several months ago, but now essentially it is too late to increase crop yields with the rain we received last week.

But the sense that summer is turning to fall was very real with the fall-like weather.

However, yesterday, and from the look of it so far the Sun has returned, and all is well.

We better get out, and enjoy what we have since the real Fall doesn't lay to far from now.
