Once a weasel, always a weasel

Weasel - noun: Someone who states on a job application, in an effort to appeal to the mindset of the prospective employer, his pride in being a member of an elitist group that exists to discriminate against minorities and women, and then 20 years later, when applying for a different job, denies ever being part of said group.

That's odd - I coulda sworn he joined Concerned Alumni of Princeton, not Hamas.

Maybe we should judge him by his personal views, rather hold others' personal views against him simply because he happened to be in the same benign group as he was?

That would be like me picking someone off your blogroll and then attacking you because of something they said.

Thanks, Marie, you saved me a trip to the dictionary. Your definition hits the nail right on the head.
