Demolition

Former Springfieldian living in Las Vegas, ewink, live blogged after the fact (if there is such a thing), with photos, the implosion of the Castaways Hotel this week: Boom Goes The Dynamite! Very cool.

Also cool, but not involving dynamite: Time lapse photos of the recent demolition of Busch Stadium in St. Louis. (Thanks to my brother for that one.)

I saw several Cardinals games at Busch when I lived in St. Louis. I always thought it sterile and bland. I won't miss it. Evidently, St. Louis feels likewise.
