Big snow

Saturday morning shot of downtown Springfield in the middle of the snow storm. We got a reported seven inches. It's still snowing.

Oh boy. You can build a snowman now!

Beautiful. I swear I'm not one of these California-transplanted Illinoisans who hated winter; I used to love the snow and cold and going inside to get warm.

Cool picture, but driving in the stuff was a different story. Thankfully it melted before noon.

Hey, I was at that same spot around 10:30 or so taking pictures that morning. I haven't posted them yet. The bridge is neat because no foot prints since they do not let anyone on it anymore.
