Five noteworthy Civil War things
- The Illinois Secretary of State has updated and upgraded its Illinois Civil War soldiers database (thanks to John Ruberry writing for Illinoize for pointing this out); other historic Illinois searchable databases can be found at the Illinois Secretary of State site
- Professor Dirck lists his five favorite Civil War movies
- A new Civil War blog discovered: Civil War Memory - Reflections of a High School History Teacher and Civil War Historian - Blogged Daily by Kevin M. Levin. Wow! Amazing! (26 APR 2006: Updated to new URL)
- The Harold Holzer documentary, "The Lincoln Family Album," recorded at the Library of Congress a couple nights ago, starring Liam Neeson and Holly Hunter, and narrated by Holzer, will be on C-SPAN on February 20, 2005 (President's Day), at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time
- SpringfieldPhotos has a roundup of upcoming TV shows about Abe Lincoln and the Civil War. Also included in the mix is a documentary about paranormal activity at the now torn down Lake Club
