Debt con Part 1

Sometimes I wonder if something is wrong with Technorati. When I went to its homepage earlier tonight, the top tag was for debt-consolidation, followed by Bush, Dubai, UAE and ports.

Since "Technorati is the authority on what's going on in the world of weblogs," I clicked on debt-consolidation. Hey, I was curious what could possibly be going on the world that would cause that topic tag to rise above Bush and Dubai. I found all the listings lead to only one blog. In fact, said blog is what is commonly referred to as a splog and was apparently created only today. It has a total of six posts.

Out of 28.5 million blogs, the hottest tag is for debt consolidation. And, all tags lead to one blog. I don't get it.

Sounds like someone knows the inner workings of Technorati pretty well. Now I've got to go find out what a splog is.
