Debt con Part 2
In real debt related news, the U.S. Supreme Court yesterday, "ruled 7-1 that predatory payday lenders can force consumers into arbitration, even if their loans are illegal under state law." (Source: U.S. PIRG Consumer Blog: Supreme Court Backs Predatory Lenders.)
Now, that does not surprise me.

For whatever reason, those payday lenders are rife down in Florida where my in-laws live. Just the notion of borrowing against an upcoming paycheck always sounded bad to me. I kind of figured the whole industry was predatory.
What's with the ads?
