Tornado aftermath: Day two and a half

Except for our house, our entire block has electricity.

Structurally, our house is fine. The garage sustained some major damage. Everytime I look at it, I'm just grateful it was the garage and not the house.

I'm also grateful for my daughter, Allie. Without her, I'm sure I would have gone off the deep end by now.

Funny thing. As noted by Allie, we can have a light breeze blow through, and the garbage cans (and their contents) go scattering up and down the alley. Sunday night, we had 120 mile an hour wind come through, and the garbage cans remained exactly where they were.

More later. Hopefully from home.

Its a weird thing with air pressure.

A guy at worked noticed that his kid's toys were undisturbed, but he had pine trees uprooted. Weird.

Glad you and Allie are a okay!

From what you wrote before, I didn't realize you'd had such a close call. Hang in there.
