KEO is a project of the European Space Agency. Set to launch in 2007, the space craft will carry a time capsule through space for 50,000 years, whereupon it will return to Earth to be opened by our descendants (assuming there are any).

From the Wikipedia page, in addition to many things, including human DNA:

[...] The satellite has enough capacity to carry a four-page message from each of the more than six billion inhabitants on the planet. Once the satellite is launched the messages, with personal names removed, will be made freely available on the web.

What could I possibly say to the future?

  1. I blogged this.
  2. I hope we didn't consume everything.
  3. Three guys walked into a bar...
  4. Do I have any messages?
  5. !@$%^&*()_

Still thinking.
