A strong, and frequently changed password works well to protect one's blog.

I back up my entire blog periodically, and have my own domain at www.jeromeprophet.com so if anything does happen I'll simply switch to a new blogger account.

Yeah, it's definitely still hijacked. Before it was all politics - mostly Illinois. Now, it's all blog spam. Even though he didn't really post regularly, it was good stuff. I wish I knew who he was so I could send him an e-mail.
