You have an eye for the unusual. I could go for an Arby's. Guess I will have to settle for a papaya shake.

Nice picture, Marie. I love eating outdoors and do so whenever I can but I married someone who hates it so it's not very often.

The Panera Bread near me is buried in the bowels of an indoor mall. Dirksen... as in Everett Dirksen? I haven't thought about him in years.

I love the fact there's a Dirksen Parkway. Doesn't seem entirely wholesome -- remember his emphysema? -- but it makes me feel like I've seen some history.

Yes, that road was named after our own Everett McKinley Dirksen some time before I started driving. The federal courthouse in Chicago is also named after him. Dirksen's senate seat is currently occupied by Barack Obama. Just some Dirksen trivia.
