Forecast

Can this be believed? Last week's forecast had similar thunderstorms predicted, none of which actually happened. Standing by.

The forecast in Baltimore is the same. We got buckets of rain yesterday. Portions of my group's office space is underwater.

So far it's still dry here.

I heard on the radio some buildings in and around Washington, D.C., got closed because of flooding from the rain, and an Amtrack is stuck on the tracks south of there.

Stay dry, Kem. But, just in case, wear your water wings.

Um, you're not complaining, are you, Marie?

Meantime, the temperature in Death Valley on Sunday: 125. But it's a dry heat.

Also: The peerless Tom Skilling has a couple interesting posts re: the weather y'all having:

At 6:30 p.m., we're finally getting some rain.

125? I think I know why they call it Death Valley.

A little rain in one's life is a good thing. I have plenty this time of year!

I have an updated forecast. There will be an 80% chance that forecasters get it wrong again tomorrow.

...and so it's Thursday, how was the prediction? We had rain here/Chi-land almost every day or night.

We had about ten minutes of rain on Monday evening. Not even enough to wash the dirt off anything. Nothing since.
