Video of the last fifty-six minutes of Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock.

This was my first time at Google video and it took me a while to figure out how to work it. And, I did.

Great find. Hendrix never gets stale.

Yeah, the Hendrix stuff at Seattle's Experience Music Project is worth the price of admission all by itself. ...

I remember the early days of MTV when they showed "Closet Classics," one of which was "Are You Experienced?". I then became a Jimi Hendrix fan at the age of 8. I was absolutely captivated by him: the playing, the showmanship, the sound.

He is one of the few musicians whom you can instantly recognize just by his sound. John Coltrane is another one.

Speaking of "Closet Classics," another one was "Summertime Blues" by Blue Cheer. I remember being confused a few years later upon hearing Eddie Cochran's original version. I still prefer Blue Cheer's version.
