Ice

The Willard Ice Building, Springfield, Illinois.
Nothing about this scene looks like downtown Springfield. But, it is. Except that chimney. I think it's with the building behind this one.

I remember serveral years back that they had a lot of trouble with the glass seals leaking. The whole building was full of mold from the water seeping in. I also remember them spending a bunch to get serveral glass plates and seals replaced. I guess it must be ok now. Nice photo, but you are kind of getting a little too close to my stomping ground...Just kidding :)

Randy, you are so right. From this view, you can't tell, but this building has not aged at all gracefully. I've only been inside a couple times, and each time, one word came to mind: Skullduggery.
