My five favorite YouTube videos (current)
- the corss with bono of u2 - summer wine. An absolute fabulous remake of the Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazelwood song. I got this from Rob who actually linked to a different upload the other day, which has since been removed due to copyright violations. This one has been spared, I believe, because of a well placed, but obvious, typo.
- Mad TV does Hillary and Barack. This is hilarious and cute and true. Thanks to Blevins for recently linking this.
- Little Green Bag by the George Baker Selection. Don't even talk to me unless you knew this before it was made famous in the movie, Reservoir Dogs. Just kidding. You can talk to me. I. Love. This song. It is one of those that keeps getting removed. Then a few days later, re-uploaded. Enjoy it while it lasts.
- Various clips of the first Star Trek set to White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane. This is positively the most creative thing I have seen on YouTube. This is my real number one favorite YouTube video. Amazingly, this was done by a 21 year old female in the UK. So creative. Thank you.
- ATOMIC HYGIENE | COMMUNITY SHELTER PLANNING: 'Lost' Gene Hackman Film Unearthed. Scroll about 3/4ths the way down to see the video. I think they showed us this in school. Circa fifth grade.
There's a theme here. Well, except for one.

Thanks for the new link, Marie. These are great. That Star Trek video is amazing. Gotta give Tarantino credit for bringing a lot of wonderful music to younger people who haven't heard it. Chuck Berry's C'est La Vie from Pulp Fiction, Little Green Bag from Reservoir Dogs, and Nancy Sinatra's bigger-than-life Bang, Bang to open Kill Bill are fabulous songs.

I still don't find video on the Internet appealing. I've never gotten the YouTube bug. I agree with you about the Star Trek video, but I also always think people who put those kind of things together have too much time on their hands.
