She'll never be the same
Allie just called me from St. Louis. She's at a convention. In the room are Tom DeLay and TED NUGENT!!! She apparently has fallen into the clutches of conservatives. She reports that everyone is ignoring DeLay. What is the convention? NRA.
Update: She just met R. Lee Ermey. He and the person she's with exchanged coins or something. I don't know. Gaga abounds. Ten-hut!

Welcome Allie to the dark side for me. ;)
Serious note, Ermey's one fella I wouldn't mind meeting.

If it were my child, I would have to grab them by the ear and take them home. I wouldn't care how old they were.

Ted Nugent eats at my parent's pizza place when he deer hunts in Schuyler County. Seems like a cool guy!

I think what you'd need to complete the picture at the convention is Vincent D'Onofrio in his "Leonard ('Private Pyle')" persona.

Ben, will do!
Kem, that sounds like something my dad said. But, back then, the topic was drugs.
Brad, Ted Nugent's music and I go way back. And, that's about the extent of that.
Dan, I can't get past his Law & Order CI character these days. But, good idea.

I dunno... drugs or conservatives? I think I'd take the drugs.
