Rolling temptation
Third and Scarritt, Springfield, Illinois.
For some reason, in my old age, I get dizzy when looking straight at a moving train. Hence, the blurry photo. Whatever.
All my life I've struggled to resist the temptation to jump on a moving train and head down to Valdosta.

I love train shots. All train shots. This one is great. Motion, movement, and age, all in one.

This is a terrific photo, Marie. Love that everything beyond the car is in perfect focus. This train looks to be moving too fast to jump.

Alternately, you can live vicariously:

I've hopped a few but they've mainly gone from Oakland to somewhere else in California which I only decided after consulting a route map.
