Is it Lincoln?

I could be mistaken, but this photo of a statue doesn't look much like Abraham Lincoln to me. If it is Lincoln, I'm not seeing the likeness. Could be I've seen one too many. Or, not enough. I'd like to tell the guy who thinks it is Lincoln that it's not really. But, what if I'm wrong. So, if someone could confirm whether it is or isn't Lincoln, I'd appreciate it. If it is Lincoln, tell me. I can take it. If it's not Lincoln, who is it?

I'm just this side of anguish over this.

Are there any statues of Robert Todd Lincoln?

That's Lincoln's Secretary of State William H. Seward. The statue is in Madison Square Park in New York City. The shiny trees in the background caught my eye --they're part of the art being displayed in the park this year.

Excellent, Joe! I should have known you would know. I never would have guessed. I'm thrilled to learn this.

Kem, good guess. To answer your question, the only one I know of is him at age 10 in Springfield.

Glad to help! It does look a bit like Lincoln without a beard. I've got a picture of Seward from the back.

Thanks, Marie. By the way, I was in the park this evening as saw that Seward has a masked friend!
