Getting the best Amazon price with RSS

From the Dept. of Things I Should Have Blogged Much Sooner. Anyone who does any amount of shopping on Amazon, knows how the prices go up and down. (Why is another story.) Instead of constantly checking prices on the Amazon web site, RSS Talker makes it super easy. You can track your desired purchases by item, category, or everything on your Amazon wishlist. Just tell it what you want to track, and it produces an RSS feed for you. The wishlist method is how I replaced my nine year old Birkenstocks for $33.00 instead of $110.00 back in June.

Update a little later: My daughter just asked me if RSS Talker or Birkenstock paid me to write this post. She said it sounds like those ads that go, "that's how I got my Rascal." LOL! And, no. Amazingly, I receive no compensation in any form for any of the crap I write here. That's not to say, however, I wouldn't be open to such a scenario if the right deal came along. Standing by...

I can just hear Richard Kiley now: "To dream the impossible dream ...." But believe me, I'm with you. After four years of free content, I'm thinking of putting Google ads on my blog. I've always been afraid that my handful of regular readers would be put off. But the truth is that 98 percent of the people who happen across my site are not regular readers.
