I think that's a birch. I like the tree houses. I like the tree. I like the fence. I like the sky. I like that growth on the top branch that looks like a headless, armless, chubby legged dancer. I like those reedy things on the left. I like that this reminds me of a beach scene. I like that it's just five blocks from downtown Springfield. (Bigger.)

No passive aggressive attack here, just an observation - that's one unbalanced tree. The cute thing to me about the photo is that the owner didn't chop the tree down - like most people probably would have, but instead added some birdhouses, and has "saved" the tree. Maybe for sentimental reasons.

Am I the only one who feels a sense of connection with trees? There were certain trees, all gone now, in my childhood yard that we tried to save, but after we moved the new owners didn't have the same sentimental feeling towards them, and down they came.

I'll still drive down the block I grew up on, and look at many of the old trees which still stand. They seemed so big then, and still are, but I wonder how long they'll be there - hopefully, long after I've passed away.

Someone needs to make a large pumpkin shaped bird house, and put it right on the top of the tree. It would look really neat with the two "arms" reaching out.

Allie that's so sweet that you tell your mother you love her over your blog.
