What others say about poverty

These are a some posts about poverty from blogs that I read on a regular basis:

• Brad Ward on a friend of his who helped raise $20,000 for an orphanage in Kenya. Now that's action. Wow!

• Springfield Daily Photo with a photo of one of the multitude of predatory lenders in Springfield (she's also not participating, but managed to convey a very scary part of the poverty problem in this one photo)
