Obama-Lincoln connections

The A. Lincoln Blog has two excellent posts on the Lincoln-Obama connection. One is from election night, and the other from Wednesday. He also wrote, "From Springfield to Bull Run" on election day. I've mentioned this blog before, but not for some time. As a professor of history at Anderson College, and a Lincoln author, he knows his Lincoln stuff. Highly recommended.

And, back on September 30, 2006, before he even announced his candidacy I predicted that "Another Illinoisan, Barack Obama, gets inaugurated as president" for Abraham Lincoln's 200th birthday. Okay, I phrased it more as a fact than as a prediction. That's pretty good for me since my predictions rarely happen.
