Springfield blogging community

I'm not sure if this seems like a long time ago or not that long ago. Anyway, in November of 2004, I noted that there were five bloggers in the Springfield blogging community. I also speculated that there had to be more. As it turns out, I believe there were more at the time. We just hadn't found each other yet. Shortly after that, blogging in Springfield really took off. Today SpfldBloggers.com has over a billion bloggers on the blogroll. Okay, not a billion, but more than 100. There's also a non-bloggy Springfield Directory if anyone is looking for something non-bloggy related.

Five bloggers in Springfield four years ago? That does seem like a long time ago to me. Hmmmm, as usual I'm extremely late to the party!
