Flickr 6:6 photo

This is the sixth photo on the sixth page of my Flickr photos. This is from the family archives and I believe it was taken in 1929 or the early 1930s at a U.S. Navy installation somewhere. I'm assuming my dad's brother is in the photo, but which one he is, I don't know. If you're interested: That stuff on the floor (thanks, Matt).

Thanks to Karoli for tagging me for this. "The idea here is to post the sixth photo on the sixth page of your Flickrstream and then blog it."

Tagging forward: Rob and Allie and anyone else who wants to do this.

If you like old photos, you could find some great ones at Shorpy's place.

If your family was local and your Uncle enlisted in the Navy then he was possibly trained up a t Naval Station Great Lakes. LOC might have photos of that base around that time.

Thanks, Rob.

Gish, thanks. I sort of figured this was at Great Lakes. I have a few photos of some buildings from the outside, but this is the only one I have indoors.
