Love the top one. Holiday? Doesn't look like a lot of activity with the empty streets and parking lots. Makes it more interesting. Love urban photography.

Beautiful in a way you can only appreciate if you like a freezing 30 mph wind right in the kisser.

Ever see the movie "Stranger than Paradise"? There's a midwinter scene on the Cleveland lakefront that these shots remind me of.

(And really: I do think it's beautiful.)
