On this night in 2006

UPDATED 8:23 P.M.: Sirens still going. Lights flickering. Rolling thunder directly overhead. We rarely get rolling thunder around here. Usually, it's a sharp crack.

And then the tornado, or the outer parts of it, went over our house taking the electricity with it. And part of Springfield, too.
