A free man in Illinois (for a while)

Blago Jogging on May Street

The jury ended their deliberations in the Rod and Robert Blagojevich trial today. They found Rod guilty on one count of lying to the FBI five years ago. The way I understand it, they were hung on the other 23 counts in that one juror wouldn't go along with the rest. So, that should not be construed to be not guilty or innocent on the other 23.

Rod, of course, vows to appeal the conviction. And, the government vows to retry him, or both of them.

Of course, glad you could use it, makes me laugh every time I see it too, or every time I see our laughable Gov preening for the camera…
