I couldn't help but notice this statement by the SJ-R in this week's Cheers and Jeers:

Hanson has installed a web camera at Lincoln, 300 S. 11th St., to let students follow progress of the construction of the city’s first traffic roundabout at 12 Street and Capitol Avenue. [Emphasis added.]

Au contraire, mon editor frère. Springfield already has a roundabout as evidenced by the above photo, which I took tonight for this very purpose. Guess where?

Mike, it's at the intersection of Fiat and Roland Avenues in Park South. Thank you for reading and for your comment.
