You can have your funky world

And then a little later:

* I walked past the Ferguson Building every day for many years. I even shopped at the now long gone Coe's Bookstore on the first floor many times. Of course, I've eaten at Cafe Brio, which is now on the first floor, on more than one occasion. But for all those years, I trained my eyes not to look at the building and its disgusting ugliness. Now they're removing eight stories of facade and we get to see a beautiful building. Amazing.

* I've been meaning to blog this for a while and keep forgetting. My blogging friend, Joe, has now traveled across the country and photographed all four "Circuit Rider" sculptures of Abraham Lincoln by Anna Hyatt Huntington. Good work. Thanks, Joe.

* Shirttail relatives, I'm sure.

* I was just 13 when I had to leave home. Well, not me, but somebody.

Is it my imagination or does Lincoln look much younger in the Bethel statue than the others?

That's very cool what they are doing to those buildings. Much better.

I wonder how much those full grown sheep weigh if that old guy can carry one like it's nothing. They look heavy to me.

I want some of that cheese.

Dave: I can't believe the difference in the building on the corner.

Rob: I'd love to try some of that cheese, too.
