I screamed

* George Little explains why a little pain is a good thing. Also, "A green gooseberry pie is living proof that you can eat anything if you put enough ice cream on it."

* This afternoon as I was about to put some clothes in the washer, I looked down into the tub and noticed something dark and shiny sticking about a half inch out of one of the little drain holes. I couldn't figure out what it was. Can't have foreign objects in the wash. So, I reached in and pulled it out. It was a wasp. It was dead. But it was still a wasp and I was holding it. I screamed.

* 100 rock 'n roll riffs. [Via.] I recognized most of the first 65. After that, not too many.

Wasps and I don't get along, either, especially those brown ones. I've been stung way too many times.

I couldn't hang with the riff guy. I recognized most of the first 35 or so but I don't think he did many of them very well.

Can't say I'm all that into gooseberries, but then I've never had them in pie form. What I do love are raspberries and man are they already coming in around here. Mom says she is going to get two batches in this year and I think she might be right.

That sounds really good, Dave.
